Meet the Tutors
Two dedicated mentors, one consistent teaching model — your child always learns with the same tutor, never a rotating roster.
Pooja Rathor
Years 9-12 | 20+ Years teaching experience | 7+ Years VCE-focused
VCE Maths SpecialistPooja brings over two decades of experience in mathematics education, spanning secondary schools and private tutoring across Melbourne, London, and India. She holds a postgraduate degree in Mathematics, alongside a B.Sc. in Computer Science, a B.Ed., and an M.Sc. in Mathematics — a strong academic foundation matched by deep, real classroom experience.
Specialising in General Maths, Maths Methods, and Specialist Maths, Pooja has spent the past several years focused specifically on VCE, teaching students from leading private, public, and selective schools across Melbourne. Her passion is transforming students' relationship with maths — from apprehension to genuine confidence — and watching them go from struggling with a concept to mastering it under exam conditions.
Pooja is known for her patience — however many times a concept needs re-explaining — and for the depth of her practice resources, including an extensive bank of SACs and past exams. Many students see real improvement within months, and it's common for families to stay with her for several years once they do. Her students have gone on to achieve ATARs as high as 98, with many scoring 40+ in Maths.
Pooja's teaching philosophy centres on understanding why an answer works, not just how to get it — breaking challenging problems into manageable steps that build real confidence, not memorised shortcuts.
Vrinda Rathore
Years 6-8 | Monash University Student | 2+ Years Experience
Year 6-8 SpecialistVrinda is a second-year student at Monash University, having recently completed her own VCE with a strong focus on Maths Methods and Specialist Maths. That recent experience means she brings genuinely current knowledge of the curriculum, CAS techniques, and exam expectations — not knowledge from years ago.
Vrinda is passionate about helping younger students build strong foundations early, before the jump to VCE makes gaps harder to close. Having so recently been a student herself, she connects naturally with learners, offering relatable explanations and practical study strategies rather than textbook answers.
With a patient, encouraging approach, Vrinda creates a learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions — building both the skills and the confidence they'll need well before VCE begins.
